HEALTHY BOUNDARIES WORKSHOPS
Healthy Boundaries examines issues that impact those in roles of leadership in faith communities. Founded on a theological and ethical discussion of power and vulnerability, it focuses on the particular roles pastoral caregivers and leaders fulfill within a spiritual community. The ELCIC Employment Agreement requires Rostered Ministers to provide their employer with a certificate of participation in Healthy Boundaries training every five years. Participants receive a Certification of Participation at the conclusion of the training.
The curriculum, developed by FaithTrust Institute, was developed to strengthen the understanding of the needs for boundaries, as a method of self-care and community care.
Healthy Boundaries workshops are offered periodically through the Synod and other sources.
Course dates and registration will be posted here as information becomes available.
