Global Missions

You – a Missionary

Are you looking for opportunities to serve? Here are two possibilities for you:

  • Young Adults in Global Mission (YAGM), operated by the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), invites young adults ages 21-29 into a transformative, year-long journey in international service. As they offer themselves in service, young adults are shaped by the witness of our global neighbors. YAGMs serve in the spirit of accompaniment, walking alongside global companions in a manner that practices mutuality, interdependence and solidarity. They share in the journeys of companion churches and organizations, providing critical support to ministries and projects in communities of need. For more information.
  • Cross-cultural volunteer positions through “On Eagle’s Wings,” located in Edmonton, Alberta, offers opportunity to fly into  into northern Canadian communities each summer to offer Summer Bible school sessions. For more information see their website www.oneagleswings.org
