About Us

Although most of the population in the synod is in Alberta, the Synod oversees the spiritual care of its members in the Far North. With congregations in Whitehorse, YK, and Yellowknife, NWT, and in cooperation with the Anglican Church of Canada, other mainline protestant denominations and para-church organizations such as On Eagles Wings the Synod effectively provides for the spiritual care of all of its members throughout the synod.

Other areas of “About Us” feature a map of the synod; an introduction to the Bishop and synod office staff; the Mission priorities of the synod and a photo gallery. Please click on the appropriate subject line at the top of this page to move to the areas that interest you.
