Richard Reimer Hymn

A New Hymn from Richard Reimer and Kathy Sparo

I wish to offer this hymn to you, Wind from God, for any time in the church year, but especially in the season after Pentecost, as it appeals to the wind, breath, Spirit of God, translations of the same word in the languages of the Bible. Though the text was completed last fall, the verses seem all the more relevant now, in this time of “viral fear”.I’m most grateful for the four part harmony arranged by Kathy Sparo. Our hope is that the hymn will be sung widely. We therefore grant permission freely for its use in congregational, campus ministry, camp or other settings. We only ask that you acknowledge permission granted by “Richard Reimer, text and tune, and Kathy Sparo, arrangement.”
