ABT Synod Pre-CLAY 2020 Bus Trip “En Route” (3 day and 3 night bus trip)

Planning is underway for another Epic ABT Synod Sightseeing Bus Trip Prior to the CLAY Gathering “En Route” Calgary, Alberta in August 2020.

With Bishop Larry’s desire to build community within ABT Synod youth we have arranged a fun travel option prior to CLAY 2020, “En Route”.  This will be an exciting experience, that Bishop Larry himself will be attending, and we hope that youth will have the opportunity to make new connections with youth from all around our synod as well as Bishop Larry and Leaders.

The Synod of Alberta and the Territories is challenged, assisted and enriched by the youth in congregations. To support and highlight this important element of our constituency, a biennial gathering hosts the young people from all congregations and a network of youth leaders is encouraged. Information on these ministries may be found in separate pages under this heading.

The national church, The Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada also provides support to youth and youth ministries in Canada, to explore their site, please click the link provided below:

The synod’s youth committee is currently collecting contact information so that it can best communicate with those who are leading youth groups and youth events around the synod. Our hope is that with up to date contact information we can be better able to communicate up to date information with regards to Canadian Lutheran Anglican Youth (CLAY), synod youth gatherings, retreats, and educational possibilities for youth leaders. Below is an option on how to submit contact information.

Option 2: Send an email to Tammy Kirkwood with the following information

City or Town:
Youth Contact (Name):
At what email address would you like to be contacted?
What is the youth contact’s employment relationship with the congregation? (Volunteer, Employed Part Time or Employed Full Time)

Thank-you for your time and your participation.
