Caring for the Earth – an Indigenous Perspective

The Montana Synod and the Synod of Alberta and the Territories, AiRR Ministry Team (Abiding in Right Relations) are sponsoring an event October 16 and 17, 2017 on the Fort Peck Reservation, Montana, particularly focusing on water use and land rights. The event will include a tour of the reservation and the water facility.

Speakers will include: Dr. Robert McAnally, founder of the college; Dr. Deborah His Horse is Thunder, presenting on Standing Rock; Darnell Rides at the Door, presenting on spirituality; and Prairie Rose Seminole presenting on the Repudiation of the Doctrine of Discovery.

A block of rooms have been set aside for accommodations during the event at the Cottonwood Inn or the Sherman Inn. Please contact them directly to make your reservation:
